BROCKAHOLICS -
A day in the life of one

I begin most mornings at about 7:30am. I awake to the Alarm clock and look to my pictures of Brocky that are surrounding my bed. I ask that he may look over me and keep me safe.

I walk past my bookcase that is emblazoned with Brocky posters and void of mortal books. It houses books relating to Brocky, Holdens or Bathurst. I check that all my memorabilia is still in place, I do a head count

  •  two model 05 HRT cars (signed)
  • One model Austin A30
  • Collection of brocky plates
  • Videos that have all the rounds of the 1997 Shell Series. Also video that has Brocky's appearance on "This is your life" and the announcement of his retirement. *sheds a tear* Just on more year please.........
  • a model Brocky helmet (signed)
  • two framed pictures of the 05 and 25 car from the 1984 triumph at Bathurst
  • Picture of Brocky and myself and Eastern Creek
  • Scrap book of every Brocky clip from Auto Action, from as early as.... I cant even remember.
  • My entry tickets to Bathurst, 1997
  • next to the case my HRT  T-Shirt, signed by Brocky and Lowndes at Eastern Creek 1996, framed and mounted.

All items checked and accounted for.

I go my wardrobe and get my prepared clothes for work that day. I will not wear them to work. I select one of my or numerous HRT shirts or my Mobil HDT shirt , signed, from the wardrobe so that I can wear it to work,. It has become a routine, though I believe that there may be much more significance than that!

I arrive at work and immediately check the Brock05.com website for any new news, check the V8 Supercar sites.

Get home, have dinner, once more do the head count. Pull the bed sheets back, once more turn to the pictures above my bed and thank Brocky for the great day or maybe even ask of some advice.

Then I get up and do it all over again..............
