The Holden Sporting Car
Club of Victoria was conceived in 1972 as the Torana
Club of Victoria. In the early 1980's the club was renamed
the Holden Sporting Car Club of Victoria.
The club is affiliated with
CAMS and has many types of activities for all the family to
participate in including Motorkhanas, Hillclimbs, Sprints, Autocrosses,
Rallies, Touring Road Assemblies, Racing and social events.

A monthly publication “Holden
Torque” is distributed to it’s members, advertising is welcome at
rates which can be provided.
Members meet on the 4th Monday
of each month except December at Bell’s Hotel, Cnr. Moray & Coventry
Streets, South Melbourne. All are welcome.

Member
Darren Crozier of DRC Racing has just won the 2001 P3 Australian Rally
Championship and has placed 2nd Outright in the penultimate F2 division
for the 2001 Australian Rally Drivers Championship. After winning the
Victorian 2 Wheel drive Championship and the Victorian Club Rally Championship
both Outright in 2000 in the Isuzu Gemini, the team built a 1997 Group
A Corolla to contest the Australian Rally Championship. Add to that,
a very flash fluoro paint job, lots of enthusiasm and a new 30' UD Service
Truck and the team was ready to battle the best rally teams in the Country.
Come
along & meet Darren & his team, listen to how this challenge was accomplished.
