1980
- Holden Commodore VC - ATCC - MHDT
1980 was a very good year.
Apart from being a ace race driver, Brock was now a team owner and
the builder of custom road cars. All this extra work did nothing to
diminish his ability on the track. He went on take Pole position
in all eight ATCC races, become ATCC champion by round 6, take Pole
and win the the CRC 250, provide a 1 2 finish in the manufacturers
race at Adelaide, win again at Sandown from Pole and murder the opposition
at Bathurst. This guy likes to keep busy! |

1981
- Holden Commodore VC - MHDT
Brock was so dominate at Bathurst
in his Commodore VH in 1982 and 1983. The car looked good and
was bullet proof. |

1982
- Chevy Monza - Sports Sedan - Bob Jane
Peter Brock drove for Bob Jane
in this Monza. Both Brock and Allan Jones had some memorable
battles and dices, American iron against German Porsche. |

1982
- Commodore VH - ATCC - MHDT
In the 1982 Bathurst race, Brock's
only competion came from Allan Grice but on lap 11, Grice spun at
the bottom of Conrod and Brock was never headed. Just outside
of this shot Peter Janson was spinning wildly as he tried to keep
up with Brock for a photo opportunity. Poor old Janson needed
a Cherry Ripe after that wild spin. |

1983
- Holden Commodore VH - ATCC - MHDT
1983 was a great year for Brock.
His cars were fast and reliable, they captured the races that counted
most, both Sandown and Bathurst. Brock and Perkins could make two
cars capable of winning Bathurst. A feat only to be repeated
again in 1987 by Brock. Moffat and Johnson tried but failed,
Johnson even entered three cars and faltered. Rules have since banned
this from being repeated. God only knows why. They must
have thought it was too easy for Brock and his team!!?? |

1984
- Holden Commodore VK - ATCC - MHDT
In late 1994, Brock and his Group
C VK big banger, were to good during the long distance races.
The rice burners of Moffat were crushed. The Datsuns, well they
were simply an embarrassment to Nissan. This car is on its way
to victory at Sandown. They also looked GREAT! |

1984
- LeMans
Brock and Perkins put their combined
talents towards the Le Man's classic in 1984, it was a bit ironic
but it was Perkins who was the name driver as far as the Europeans
were concerned. After bringing the car up through the star studded
field to seventh, Perkins crunched the car. The relationship between
the two was never the same after this. |
