We
will miss you brocky, mere men walk this earth, but stars belong in
the sky. For a man who wrote "Live your dreams" has shown
us that no matter how invincable you may seem, live your dreams while
you can, life is short and all legends die but brocky's legacy will
live on in all of us. My heart goes out to his family and friends,
he may have died doing something he loved, but that doesnt make the
loss any easier to bear. I never got to meet the man or shake his
hand, i saw him from afar once, but every sunday afternoon i would
watch him race with my dad by my side and loved every minute of it.
We all say Rest in Peace but I would rather think he's up there tearing
up the place and causing a ruckus,
I loved you like my own father brocky, you are my hero and will never
be forgotten. |

commentator mike raymond once said in jest, "maybe they should
rename it... mount brock"
maybe they should. |

What
a sad day, you will never be forgotten Brocky, it didnt matter if
you followed Holden, Ford or any other. Brocky transcended all of
that, we loved him for what he was, a great Australian. |

To
All The People That Met Peter,
We are all so saddened at the sudden passing of Peter. So much in
shock. How could such a legend not be here with us anymore. No more,
will we ever see him at any motor racing events. What a hole that
he has left, no one ever will replace such a legend. But such a nice
man to talk to, he would always have time to speak to anyone. How
we all will miss him, all the memories I have of you, Peter, I will
treasure. Such a huge loss for us all. So sad for his loved ones.
Rest in Peace |

R.I.P
Peter Perfect, King of the Mountain.
Peter will be missed by all true fans of Motorsport, whatever their
manufactuerer loyalty may be. He transcended brand name and indeed
country as he was as greatly admired over this side of the Tasman
as he was in his homeland.
I have three memories of him. First was the respect he showed us flag
marshals. Secondly was his performances in the Nissan Mobil Series
in Wellington and Pukekohe. Thirdly and probably one of the most enduring
is the sight of him blasting down Conrod to yet another Bathurst win.
Personally I think the greatest memorial to the great man would be
to rename Conrod Straight to Peter Brock Straight.
Farewell Peter. May your corners be smooth and your straight long
and level. |

I
grew up watching Peter Brock, and met the Legend in the flesh when
he drove in the Targa NZ. By his signature "follow your Heart"
from now on i will.
He touched our hearts across the ditch also.
A sad day, but one for celebration and rememberance of a true legend
and a man for the fans.
My hero now and forever.
You will live on, we will never forget you. |

I'm
in the UK and found out from a txt from my Dad in NZ. Its an absolute
tragedy for Brockys family, motorsport in NZ and Australia and all
motor racing fans worldwide. He was an amazing driver and, from what
I hear, an even more amazing person.
Goodbye Brocky - you will be sorely missed by many
