1983 was a great year for Brock.  His cars were fast and reliable, they captured the races that counted most, both Sandown and Bathurst. Brock and Perkins could make two cars capable of winning Bathurst.  A feat only to be repeated again in 1987 by Brock.  Moffat and Johnson tried but failed, Johnson even entered three cars and faltered. Rules have since banned this from being repeated.  God only knows why.  They must have thought it was too easy for Brock and his team!!??
