Marcos Ambrose takes out the Series Championship for 2003

The first win for F%#d since 1997.
The blue oval people finally get a chance to celebrate thanks to Marcos Ambrose and team. Marcos also took out the Inaugural Barry Sheene Medal for 2003.

But Ambrose makes his own Ford Trifecta

The darling of the Blue Oval, Marcos Ambrose, won the fifth round of V8 Supercar Championship by virtue of a third place, a second and a win in the final heat. A huge Western Australian crowd also witnessed the welcome return to the first sprint race format for 2003 and the first hat trick for a Ford driver since Glen Seton had his way back in 1993.

HRT and Holden Smash Ford at Bathurst.
Mark Skaife and Jim Richards brought the bacon home for Holden in a drama filled final hour of racing. For Mark it was his fourth Bathurst win, two now in successive years, and a record fifth Touring Car Championship. Read more -->
